Since 1988: Member of teaching staff at Boğaziçi University; Teaching courses on international relations, foreign policy, diplomatic history

Since 1996: Member of ECRI in respect of Turkey

(b) Work at national level

2002-2007: Courses on Human Rights taught at secondary level of education,

2005: ECRI Roundtable meeting in Istanbul

1996-          Various interviews and participation in TV programs on racism and discrimination issues

(c) International work

Since 1996: Participation in several ECRI working groups and reporting teams

2001: Participation in UN World Conference against racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance as member of the delegation of Turkey

2004-2007: Representative of the Council of Europe at the Management Board and the Executive Board of the EUMC

Since 2007: Member of the Interim Management Board of the EU Fundamental Rights Agency
