The 2024-2026 cycle of the Promotion Programme’s sponsorship activities is drawing to a close, with four key events this autumn focusing on the promotion and development of international co-productions.
Montreal – 14-16 October
The Festival du Nouveau Cinéma de Montréal will host the final edition of its partnership with Eurimages. The Pitchs Premières Œuvres initiative will showcase six Canadian projects, while the international section of the Nouveau Marché will present ten international projects. Marielle Poupelin, Canada’s representative on the Eurimages Board of Management, and Iris Cadoux, Project Officer at the Secretariat, will present the Fund’s support opportunities for promotion and co-production.
Amsterdam – IDFA
At the upcoming IDFA, taking place from 12 to 22 November 2026, Eurimages will sponsor the Forum’s full programme of activities, including roundtable discussions and pitch sessions designed to facilitate connections between projects and potential co-producers.
Yerevan – ReA Festival
The market of the Reanimania International Animation Film Festival, Marani, will take place on 9, 10 and 11 November 2026 with the sponsorship of Eurimages. It will provide another opportunity to present the Fund and its co-production support programme to animation industry professionals from the region.
22 November – European Arthouse Cinema Day
The 11th edition of European Arthouse Cinema Day, organised by CICAE, will round off this series of events. Sponsored by Eurimages since the launch of the Promotion Programme’s sponsorship activities, the initiative will celebrate once again the diversity of European cinema in more than 600 cinemas across 45 countries.
Four events that highlight Eurimages’ continued commitment to promoting the visibility of film co-productions and strengthening their international outreach.
