Convention 108+ and related Council of Europe data protection work are presented as one element that can contribute to address the human rights challenges posed by the digital developments in a symposium organised on 16 March by ICESCO (The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in partnership with the Ministry of State in Charge of Human Rights and Relations with the Parliament of Morocco. ICESCO works at providing innovative solutions to the human rights challenges of digital technology and develop a legal framework to protect those rights in the digital space.
