On 1 October 2019, the Secretariat of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages received, at its premises in Strasbourg, a delegation from the Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe, with H. HABIP OGLOU, President of the ABTTF Federation, at its head. The Federation now has 30 associations across Europe. The exchange focused on the preservation of the Turkish language in Western Thrace.
