The Permanent Representation of Finland has transmitted today to the Secretary General Mrs. Marija Pejčinović Burić the instrument of ratification of the Protocol amending the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data (CETS No.223).
Finland has been a Party to Convention 108 since April 1992, and to its Additional Protocol regarding supervisory authorities and transborder data flows since November 2012.
Finland is now the 10th State to have ratified the modernised Convention 108.
