A MONEYVAL delegation, led by its President Mr Nicola Muccioli, attended the 5th inter-ministerial Conference "No money for terror" held in Paris on 19 May 2026.

The conference brought together high level officials and experts from multiple countries and key international organisations to discuss emerging challenges  in combatting terrorist financing. Key topics included: terrorist financing strategies linked to territorial control and occupied territories; the misuse of financial innovations and new technologies for terrorism financing; and the growing nexus between terrorism financing and organised crime.

The conference concluded with an address by H.E. Emmanuel MACRON, President of the French Republic.
