CINGO Committee for interreligious & interconvictional Dialogue organises a webinar on “Safer and Stronger Communities in Europe” (SASCE) on 10 February 2026 (18:00-19:30). Join this event to discover how faith communities across Europe are joining forces to build safer, more resilient societies. The EU-funded SASCE Project brings together Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and Buddhist organisations to develop practical security tools, conduct training, foster interfaith cooperation, and use technology to reduce threats to places of worship and build societal cohesion.
Aims and Goals of the Project: SASCE aims to build a more tolerant and peaceful Europe by equipping diverse religious communities with the skills and partnerships needed to prevent attacks, respond effectively to crises, and foster stronger societal cohesion. Representatives of the SASCE project will present their current work in the webinar:
- Ron Eichhorn (European Buddhist Union): Inter-religious project veteran and former EBU president
- Ophir Revach & Aline Niddam (Security and Crisis Centre, European Jewish Congress): Experts in crisis management for Jewish communities
- Iman Abu Atta (Faith Matters): Innovator in faith-based conflict resolution and social policy
Moderator: Dr. Thea Mohr (EBU), intercultural communication trainer
Join us online and be part of this important conversation shaping a more tolerant and secure Europe!
