The 2019 call for COMPASS National and Regional Training Courses in Human Rights Education generated 45 projects proposals submitted by youth NGOs from 24 Council of Europe Member States.

Eleven representatives of the projects proposals selected under the call for 2019 COMPASS National and Regional Training Courses in Human Rights Education attended between 29 and 30 of January the training seminar designed for updating them on the latest developments of the Council of Europe Human Rights Education Youth Programme as well as on introducing the required specific conditions for implementing their activities at national and regional level.

By reviewing the role of the National Compass Training Courses within the Human Rights Education Youth Programme, a common ground on the expected programme elements and methodology of the courses was built. The final implementation dates were set, for projects from Italy, Republic of Moldova, Republic of Serbia, Greece, Azerbaijan, Ireland and Lithuania to be implemented between March and October 2019 and proposals from Norway, Slovenia and Portugal pending for further availability of funds.
