Eight co-productions supported by the Eurimages Fund will be featured in various sections of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, which will take place from 2 to 12 September 2026.

Three Eurimages-supported films have been selected for the Official Competition: KVINDE UKENDT (Denmark, Latvia, Sweden) by May el-Toukhy, SUCCEDERÀ QUESTA NOTTE (Italy, France, Spain) by Nanni Moretti and BUNKER (France, Spain) by Florian Zeller.

The Orizzonti section will feature Alina Marazzi’s LA RAGAZZA CON LA LEICA (Italy, Germany), Rubaiyat Hossain’s THE DIFFICULT BRIDE (France, Portugal) and Raphaël Balboni and Ann Sirot’s UN DÉTOUR PAR DIANE (Belgium, France).

The Spotlight section will present the co-production GURIA (Georgia, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Bulgaria) by Levan Koguashvili, whilst the Giornate degli Autori section will screen THE INDIES (Switzerland, Spain) by Pauline Julier and Nicolas Chapoulier.

Finally, as every year, Eurimages invites you to take part in the Seminar on Gender Equality and Inclusivity in the Film Industry, hosted by the Venice Biennale, Eurimages, and Women in Film, Television and Media Italy, which takes place on Tuesday 8 September from 2 to 4 pm at the Spazio Incontri at the Excelsior Hotel.
