Eurimages will be present once more in Venice on the third floor of the Excelsior Hotel in the framework of the film market (Venice Production Bridge).

The team will participate in the Gap Financing Market, and the Eurimages Fund will sponsor the Market's closing cocktail with prosecco from “Ponte” (www.ponte1948.it).

The Fund will also organise a conference on “International Co-productions and Eurimages: focus on Italy” which will take place at the Excelsior Hotel (Spazio Incontri) on Sunday 2 September 2018 from 2.30pm to 4pm: All are welcome!

Finally, six films supported by Eurimages will be screened in Venice, one of which being the co-production Sunset (HU, FR) by László Nemes, selected in the official competition of the Festival. Three films have been selected in the Orizzonti section: La noche de 12 años (ES, AR, FR) by Alvaro Brechner, The man who surprised everyone (RU, FR, EE) by Natasha Merkulova and Aleksey Chupov and Tel Aviv on Fire (LU, FR, IL, BE) by Sameh Zoabi. The Belgian-Canadian co-production entitled The End of Emma Peeters (as we know her) by Nicole Palo will be screened out of competition at the close of the Venice Days section, which also includes the Eurimages-supported film Continuer (BE, FR) by Joaquim Lafosse.
