Today, 17 December, Ambassador Marek EŠTOK, Permanent Representative of the Slovak Republic, signed the Protocol amending the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data, (CETS No.223), in presence of the Secretary General, Ms Marija Pejčinović Burić.
The Slovak Republic is Party to Convention 108 since January 2001 and became, today, the 38th country to sign the modernised Convention 108.
