Heritage professionals and policy makers are meeting in Vienna on 6-7 December to close the programme of the European Year of Cultural Heritage.

After 12 months and over 11,700 events involving 6.2 million people, the Year successfully raised public awareness, disseminated examples of good practice, and promoted policy debates, research and innovation in cultural heritage.

The conference highlights projects, innovative methods of cultural education and established cultural heritage partnerships. Success stories will inspire the discussions on policy developments and future challenges in the field of cultural heritage.
