On 19–20 November 2025, the CEPEJ organised a training session at the Justice Academy for judges and professional associates, focusing on strengthening case management efficiency, particularly in preparation of court hearings. The expert, a trainer at the French National School for the Judiciary (ENM) and former Court President, presented practical tools such as procedural calendars with precise deadlines, online platforms for faster document exchange, techniques for better case preparation, and methods for managing judges’ workload. Mentoring and peer-support practices from France, which help judges in their daily work were also presented. Using these tools can help speed up case processing and improve efficiency and quality in both criminal and civil proceedings.
This activity was organised by the KoSEJ III action “Strengthening the Quality and Efficiency of Justice in Kosovo”, which is part of the joint programme entitled "Horizontal Facility of the Western Balkans and Turkey III", co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
