Back CEPEJ Experts’ Visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the implementation of a pilot project on satisfaction surveys for court users

CEPEJ Experts’ Visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the implementation of a pilot project on satisfaction surveys for court users

The CEPEJ organised an expert visit to the pilot courts of Brčko and Trebinje on September 17 and 18, 2024, to support the launch of user satisfaction surveys in  these courts.

A Steering Committee has been set up in each of the courts, which will be responsible for implementing the satisfaction survey, in accordance with the CEPEJ's tools and methodology. The aim is to understand whether the services provided by the courts (reception, accessibility, information provided, conduct of hearings, relations with lawyers, etc.) meet users' expectations, and to consider, on the basis of the survey results, the improvements that need to be made in order for users to feel confident when using the justice system.

The identification of target groups, the drafting of the questionnaire and the identification of the methodology for carrying out the user satisfaction survey in the courts of Brčko and Trebinje have already been completed.

This activity was organised by the BiHSEJ action “Strengthening the Efficiency and Quality of Justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiHSEJ)” in the framework of the European Union/Council of Europe joint programme Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Türkiye (Horizontal Facility III), co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
