On 23 May 2022 the CEPEJ, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Spain and the European Commission’s DG REFORM, will present the achievements of the joint European Union and Council of Europe Cooperation Project "Promoting cyberjustice in Spain through change management", conducted between June 2020 and May 2022.
The objective of the project was to increase the accessibility and the quality of justice in Spain by promoting the implementation of cyberjustice.
Mr Manuel Olmedo, Secretary General for Innovation and Quality of the Public Service of Justice, Mr Daniele Dotto, Deputy Director for Support to Member States in DG REFORM, European Commission and Mr Frédéric Dolt, Head of Department, Implementation of Human Rights, Justice and Legal Co-operation Standards Department, Council of Europe, will give opening remarks. Mr Tontxu Rodríguez, Secretary of State for Justice will give closing remarks.
The Spanish authorities as well as CEPEJ experts will present the results attained in the framework of the three components of the project to more than 50 participants who will follow this event from Madrid or online. The deliverables include the Feasibility Study for Electronic Judicial Procedure Regulations, the Handbook for the implementation of Cyberjustice project in Spain and the Study on Judicial organisation in digital context – prerequisites for and consequences of the digital transformation of justice.
The event will be followed by the meeting of the Steering Committee of the project.
This action is part of the Project “Promoting cyberjustice in Spain through change management” (phase II), funded by the European Union via the Structural Reform Support Programme and in cooperation with the European Commission's DG Structural Reform Support.
