Georgian legal professionals took part in a two-day training course in Tbilisi, focused on building skills in the analysis and use of judicial statistics to support informed decision-making.

In particular, the training familiarised participants with practical tools enabling them to manage, analyse and present judicial data more effectively. Topics covered included data processing notably data structuring and cleaning descriptive statistics, handling large datasets, formulas, pivot tables, comparative analysis and data visualisation.

Through practical exercises based on judicial statistics, participants learnt to identify trends, analyse case-related information, compile statistical tables and create clear visual representations of the data to facilitate court reporting and management processes.

This training helped to strengthen the capacity of judicial professionals to use data more effectively, thereby promoting evidence-based approaches and further modernising court management in Georgia.

This event was organised within the framework of the Council of Europe project “Support to Further Modernisation of Court Management in Georgia”. The project supports the continued application of European standards and contributes to the implementation of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia 2024–2027.
