Key CEPEJ project milestone met in Greece: adoption of joint backlog definition among Athens and Thessaloniki pilot courts

During the latest hybrid meeting of the Advisory Board of the joint CoE-EU Project Supporting the reduction of backlog in the First Instance Courts of Athens and Thessaloniki (pilot courts) , the members endorsed a joint backlog definition to be applied in the First Instance Courts of Athens and Thessaloniki.

In line with CEPEJ Backlog Reduction Tool this agreement establishes a shared operational benchmark for identifying long-pending civil cases and supports consistent monitoring of progress via performance reports and key indicators

The Advisory Group also endorsed the Needs Assessment and the Diagnostic Report as foundational documents, confirming the completion of the first phase of project implementation.Top of Form

During the workshops on the Action Plans and the Change Management and Communication Plan held in Athens on 26–27 January, the judicial management of the First Instance Court of Athens agreed on the next measures to be implemented.
