Online exchange between judiciaries of Mexico and Spain on digitalisation of justice organised by the European Cyberjustice Network

On 5th of May, the CEPEJ European Cyberjustice Network organises an exchange of experiences at the occasion of the presentation of the Spanish “Draft Bill on Digital Efficiency measures of the public Justice Service” and the implementation of technological tools in judiciaries in Mexico.

The Spanish Ministry of Justice will present the key features of the draft bill on Digital Efficiency measures of the public Justice Service and lessons learned in the process which was supported through the Project “Promoting cyberjustice in Spain through change management” (phase II), funded by the European Union via the Structural Reform Support Programme and in cooperation with the European Commission's DG Structural Reform.

The NGO “México Evalúa” will present updated data on the technological tools that Mexican judiciaries have implemented and related good practices, challenges, opportunities and recommendations for judiciaries. Furthermore, possible ways to introduce technological innovations in judiciaries will be discussed.

Ms Maria Giuliana Civinini will take the opportunity of this exchange to present the current work of the CEPEJ working group on Cyberjustice and Artificial Intelligence, which she chairs. The ECN is a network of practitioners in cyberjustice and the ad-hoc seminar series offers the opportunity for informal exchange, discussion and mutual learning on demand.
