CEPEJ organises a workshop on organisation of satisfaction surveys for staff in pilot courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The CEPEJ organised, on 30 May 2025, a workshop for representatives of the five pilot courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Brcko, Cazin, Livno, Sokolac and Trebinje courts) on the importance and role of internal satisfaction surveys within courts, as a tool to better understand and improve staff satisfaction, thus contributing to more efficient court management.

During the workshop, a draft model questionnaire, based on good practices from Slovenia, Georgia, and other European countries was discussed with the court presidents and court secretaries, and adapted to the specific needs and previous experiences of the pilot courts.

Planning, organising, and implementing of satisfaction surveys were discussed, including key steps such as data collection and preparation of data for analysis.

The pilot courts will hold internal satisfaction surveys later in the year.

This activity was organised by the BiHSEJ action “Strengthening the Efficiency and Quality of Justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiHSEJ)” in the framework of the European Union/Council of Europe joint programme Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Türkiye (Horizontal Facility III), co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
