A roundtable to present the report of Mr Raffaele Sabato, an international expert of the CEPEJ and a judge of the Italian Court of Cassation, was organised on 2 February 2016 at the School of Magistrates of Tirana, in Albania. The purpose of the mission of Mr Sabato in Albania was to make an assessment of possible developments in judicial and prosecutorial training. The report concerns the mandate and the structure of the School of Magistrates, the process for drafting and evaluating the initial and continuous training curricula, training courses, possible introduction of the CEPEJ tools and guidelines, and more. The meeting, which included the Director of the School of Magistrates, several professors, teachers and students, permitted to draw a number of preliminary conclusions, which were discussed in detail. The report is expected to be finalised by the end of February 2016.
