Two experts of the Council of Europe, Mr Graham Sutton and Ms Sylvie Lausi, paid a visit to Tirana on 28-30 September 2015. The mission focused on issues of public access to judicial decisions and personal data protection in the daily work of the Albanian courts. Following the mission, the experts will prepare an assessment report including findings and recommendations on how to better address existing challenges and define immediate priorities. Meetings with the Commissioner for Data Protection, the High Council for Justice, the Ministry of Justice and with Albanian Courts and the General Prosecution Office took place during their visit.
