Nataša Gliha Komac, PhD, is a Deputy Head of the Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovenian Language at the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU). Her main research interests are in the field of sociolinguistics, especially language planning and policy, with a particular focus on the needs and practises of different groups of language users. She is also interested in the issues of Slovenian language standardisation, normativity and language varieties. She participates in the making of the Growing Dictionary of the Slovenian Standard Language (eSSKJ; 2016-). She also works as an assistant professor at the Postgraduate School ZRC SAZU.
