The Courts Service of Ireland hoste an event as part
of European Day of Civil Justice for third level
students.
Students from a number of universities
in the Dublin area have been invited to attend at the
Four Courts in Dublin for a series of presentations by
judges of the Superior Courts. The presentations
included an exploration of the work of the Supreme Court,
the work of the Commercial List of the High Court, and
the work of the High Court in civil cases generally with
emphasis on personal injury cases and judicial review
cases in the asylum area.
Students have been afforded opportunities to engage in question and answer
sessions with the judges and to attend at court
hearings. |
