| Draft regulations on penitentiary issues to be discussed at a round table: for staff managing prisoners' daily regimes and for the prisoners transportation unit. | ||||
In the framework of Denmark’s Georgia Programme 2010-2013
“Promotion of Judicial Reform, Human and Minority Rights”, a round table will be
held to present two draft regulations on penitentiary issues: for prison
officers managing the daily regime in penitentiary institutions and for the
prisoners transportation unit. The drafts were prepared by a working group, who
will present them to the Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance and the
Department of Prisons. The round table will take place on 30 July 2012, at
Betsy's Hotel, in Tbilisi.Representatives of the Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance, the Department of Prisons, the National Probation Agency and the Penitentiary and Probation Training Centre will take part. Council of Europe experts, one foreign and one national, will contribute to the discussions.
