| Working group meeting to draft regulation for prison officers | ||||
In the framework of Denmark’s Georgia Programme 2010-2013
“Promotion of Judicial Reform, Human and Minority Rights”, a three-day working
group meeting to draft a regulation for prison officers managing the daily
regime in penitentiary institutions will take place at Lopota Lake Resort on
22-24 June 2012.Representatives of the Penitentiary Department, National Probation Agency and Penitentiary and Probation Training Centre of the Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance will participate in the meeting. Two international and a national expert of the Council of Europe will contribute to the development of the draft regulation. The final draft will be presented to the management of the Ministry of Corrections and Legal Assistance of Georgia and the Department of Prisons at a round table on 16 July 2012.
