Fourth meeting of the working group charged with drafting a Strategy and Action Plan for the Penitentiary and Probation Training Centre |

On
13-15 March 2012, the working group charged with drafting a Strategy and Action
Plan for the Penitentiary and Probation Training Centre will meet for its fourth
meeting at the Kvareli Lake Resort (Georgia). Two international and one local
expert of the Council of Europe will contribute to the development of the
document. The work of the group will focus on finalising the draft Strategy and
Action Plan in line with the standards of the Council of Europe. This activity
is conducted in the framework of the Denmark’s Georgia Programme 2010-2013
“Promotion of Judicial Reform, Human and Minority Rights”.
The working group meeting will be followed by a round table on 16 March 2012, when the draft Strategy and Action Plan will be presented to the Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance of Georgia for further consideration and adoption.
