The European Drug Prevention Prize 2012 was launched by two jurors on Tuesday 13
December 2011 in Ljubljana. The launch goes together with a call for
applications intended for projects led by young people for young people in the
47 member States of the Council of Europe, Morocco, which has become a member of
the Pompidou Group on 1st July 2011, and Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and
Tunisia, countries of the Mediterranean Network for Co-operation on drugs and
addiction (MedNet). At the end of 2012, during the mid-term conference of the
Pompidou Group, three youth projects should be rewarded by a jury of seven young
people for their effectiveness, active youth involvement and innovative way to
deliver drug prevention. Applications must be received by 30 March 2012. For
