Drafting Session of Strategy and Action Plan of the Penitentiary and Probation Training Centre
On 7-9 February 2012, the working group charged with drafting a Strategy and Action Plan for the Penitentiary and Probation Training Centre will meet for its third meeting at the Kvareli Lake Resort (Georgia). Two international and one local expert of the Council of Europe will contribute to the development of the document. The work of the group will focus on further development of the draft Strategy and Action Plan, in line with the standards of the Council of Europe. This activity is conducted in the framework of the Denmark’s Georgia Programme 2010-2013 “Promotion of Judicial Reform, Human and Minority Rightsâ€. 

There will be an additional meeting in March 2012, followed by a round table, when the draft Strategy and Action Plan will be presented to the Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance of Georgia for further consideration, adoption and implementation.
