Court declares case concerning
armed conflict between Georgia and Russia admissible

European Court of Human Rights has declared admissible, by a majority,
the application in the case of Georgia v. Russia (II) (application no.
38263/08).The case concerns the armed conflict between Georgia and Russia at the
beginning of August 2008 following an extended period of mounting tension,
provocations and incidents.
