A study visit of students of High School of Justice
A study visit of students of High School of Justice (HSoJ) to the headquarters of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg will take place on 30 June to 1 July 2011, in the framework of Denmark’s Georgia Programme 2010-2013 “Promotion of Judicial Reform, Human and Minority Rightsâ€.
During the visit, students of the HSoJ will learn about the latest developments in the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and the work of the different bodies of the Council of Europe. The participants will meet with officials of the ECtHR and the Council of Europe Secretariat.
A political organisation set up in 1949, the Council of Europe works to promote democracy and human rights continent-wide. It also develops common responses to social, cultural and legal challenges in its 47 member states.
