Conference: The Past and the Future of Constitutional Review in New Democracies
On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Georgia the Constitutional Court of Georgia in co-operation with the Council of Europe Venice Commission and German International Co-operation Organisation is organising on 24-26 June (Batumi) a conference on "the Past and the Future of Constitutional Review in New Democracies". The Venice Commission will be represented by its president Mr. Gianni Buquicchio.
A political organisation set up in 1949, the Council of Europe works to promote democracy and human rights continent-wide. It also develops common responses to social, cultural and legal challenges in its 47 member states.
