Description
In 2010 “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” will mark the
fifteenth anniversary of its European Heritage Days. The idea
therefore is to organise the launch of the EHD at some protected
cultural and natural heritage site, with a programme that would
emphasise the European dimension (a chorus of children performing
the European anthem and raising the flag). In the Museum of
Macedonia an exhibition of the International Heritage Photographic
Experience (IHPE) 2010 photographs will be displayed together with
the photographs from “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”
awarded by the IHPE in the past ten years. This kind of
retrospective is to mark the tenth anniversary of the first
participation of “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” in this
truly European project.
