Hearings of the Administrative Tribunal

20.06.2014 - A hearing will be held before the Administrative Tribunal on Thursday 26 June 2014 in the Tribunal’s hearing-room in the D building at 9.30 am in appeal No. 529/2012- ROUGIE-ECHLER. The hearing will be chaired by Mr Christos ROZAKIS, Chair of the Tribunal. A hearing will also be held before the Administrative Tribunal on Friday 27 June 2014 at 9.30 am in appeals No. 542/2013 and 544/2014-TANCREDI and TANCREDI (II). This hearing will be chaired by Mr Giorgio Malinverni, Deputy Chair of the Tribunal
Registration of six appeals before the Administrative Tribunal

06.05.2014 - On 17 April 2014, the Administrative Tribunal registered the six following appeals:

• Appeal No. 548/2014 – Clelia CUCCHETTI-RONDANINI v. Secretary General
• Appeal No. 549/2014 – Sevda GÜNDÜZ v. Secretary General
• Appeal No. 550/2014 – Marie-Paule GUTFREUND v. Secretary General
• Appeal No. 551/2014 – Nasera KESSOUR v. Secretary General
• Appeal No. 552/2014 – Martine LANG v. Secretary General
• Appeal No. 553/2014 – Anne GURY v. Secretary General

The appellants seek the annulment of the Secretary General’s decision to reject theirs applications for the competition n° e059/2013. They also allege that the Human Resources Directorate would have provided them with wrong information concerning the possibility of taking out an unemployment insurance. This information is given to enable those who so wish to exercise their right to intervene under Article 10 of the Statute of the Administrative Tribunal.

25.03.2014 - On the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of its establishment, the International Monetary Fund Administrative Tribunal organises on 4 April 2014 in Washington a Symposium entitled “The future of international administrative law: Harmonization? Fragmentation? Dialogue?”, which will bring together scholars, judges, counsel for applicants and international organisations’ representatives. On the preceding day, more than 70 Judges and Registry personnel, representing some fifteen international administrative tribunals, will be convened for private meetings. The Council of Europe Administrative Tribunal will be represented by Mr G. Malinverni, Deputy Chair, and Mr S. Sansotta, Registrar. The Chair Malinverni will do a presentation on “The Relationship between The Administrative Tribunal of the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights” in session III of the programme.
