European Day of Civil Justice

The European Day of Justice is celebrated each year around the 25 October. It aims to bring justice closer to citizens, to inform them on their rights and to to promote the work of the  Council of Europe in the field of civil justice, through simulation of procedures and information sessions.

This day is open to all european citizens, students and people who work in the field of justice.

The Council of Europe invites representatives from the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) to inform about their projects in their respective countries for this special day.

The European Day of justice has been celebrated on 25 October in Europe

The European Day of justice is celebrated every year on 25 October. It is aimed for European citizens, students and professionals in the field of justice and is organised by the Council of Europe. The main event of this day in 2013 took place in Luxembourg, in presence of the Minister of Justice of Luxembourg and eminen personalities. The theme of this day, jointly organised by the Notaries of Europe and the Chamber of Notaries of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg was “Europe for the notaries, and notaries for Europe”.
