A delegation of the Conference of International Non-Governmental Organisations (CINGO) of the Council of Europe, led by its President Gerhard Ermischer, will visit Montenegro on 22-25 June 2026.

Discussions will focus on the environment in which civil society and its organisations currently operate and their participation opportunities in policy-making and implementation at national and local level. The delegation will meet with representatives of government and other public institutions as well as civil society actors involved in a variety of activities.

Following the visit, a detailed report will be prepared, for presentation and discussion at one of the forthcoming CINGO General Assemblies.
