HUMAN RIGHTS DAY AT THE EYCB

What are human rights? Why are they important? How can they be protected and whose responsibility is it to defend them? These and many other questions about democracy, human rights, social rights, inclusion and other issues were asked and answered during the annual Human Rights Day celebration at the European Youth Centre Budapest.

This year, the event brought together over 200 Hungarian high school students for a programme of diverse and playful workshops, alongside an interactive theater play, a screening of an award-winning documentary, art workshops, a Living Library and for new encounters, discussions and many laughs.

The programme was developed and delivered in partnership with several Hungarian NGOs and other local partners.
