New call for proposals for international one-off youth co-operation activities now open !

Following the new changes brought on by the Operational Regulations of the EYF (in force since 24 December 2025), we are happy to announce the launching of the first call for proposals:

  • for international one-off youth co-operation activities taking place in 2027

The details of the calls, including the eligibility, exclusion and award criteria, as well as application forms are now published on our website, and applications are open for submission for youth organisations registered with the EYF, by the deadline of 1 April 2026 23:59 CET.

This call aims to support international meetings of young people that contribute to the following objectives:

  • Enhancing young people’s participation in democratic societies, in youth organisations and in other forms of mobilisation and action.
  • Allowing young people to explore in depth a subject of relevance to the thematic priorities for EYF funding, as well to their own challenges and concerns in different contexts.
  • Promoting intercultural dialogue by allowing young people to meaningfully connect across cultures, network, co-operate and learn from each other.
  • Building capacities for future action and inspiring new initiatives of educational, awareness-raising, co-operation or advocacy nature, on the thematic priorities of the EYF.

For more information about these priorities, consult the Council of Europe youth sector’s Strategy 2030 and the priorities as decided by the Joint Council on Youth for the period 2024 – 2027 and the Guide to the EYF grants.

This call is open for the following types of youth organisations:

  • An international non-governmental youth organisation;
  • An international network of non-governmental youth organisations;
  • A sub-regional network of non-governmental youth organisations;
  • A partnership composed of at least four national youth organisations; or
  • A partnership of a national non-government youth organisation and an international non-governmental youth organisation or network.

The applicant organisation must be registered within the EYF online system, in order for the application to be considered at this deadline.

For youth organisations interested in finding out more about the specificities of the calls for proposals, you can join us during our Digital Open Desk, every Wednesday afternoon in March, from 14:00 to 16:00 CET, on TEAMS (no prior registration is required).

 This spring 2026 the EYF is implementing transitional measures for its calls for proposals, while it develops the new IT infrastructure for grant-making.

This means that the submissions for the calls with a deadline of 1 April 2026 must be sent via email. Please read carefully the Call for proposal document on the relevant page on the EYF website.
