Cyberweek 2019 took place in the premises of the University of Tel Aviv with more than 3000 participants discussing for a week issues related to Cybersecurity, fight against cybercrime and this year also to privacy and personal data protection. The Data Protection Unit has been invited to present the perspective Convention 108+ can bring to those discussions. Furthermore it had the opportunity at a roundtable discussion, to highlight the importance of integrating privacy and data protection considerations into policies related on cyber security and fight against cybercrime.
