Octopus Conference 2026: Registration is now open!

Registration is now open for  Octopus Conference 2026, which will take place between 14-16 October, in Strasbourg, France!

The 2026 edition will be of particular significance as it marks the 25th anniversary of the Convention on Cybercrime (Budapest Convention) and will be an opportunity to take stoke of its impact on cybercrime legislation at the global level.

Furthermore, Octopus Conference will offer a platform for addressing emerging challenges such as the impact of artificial intelligence on cybercrime, the phenomenon of disinformation, illegal use of virtual assets, the prosecution of cyber-enabled international crimes, impact of online scams, and the continued importance of observing the conditions and safeguards to ensure compliance with human rights and the rule of law in the digital environment.

For an interactive event, participants are invited to actively contribute to the programme through the lightning talks session. The call for proposals is now open, offering possibility to present innovative ideas, practical experiences, and emerging challenges in a concise and dynamic format. Selected speakers will have the opportunity to showcase their work to a global audience of experts from public authorities, international organisations, private sector, academia, and civil society.
