20 relevant staff of the Albanian Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination and Ombudsperson institution enhanced their capacities in using the amicus curiae as a tool to promote anti-discrimination in the practice of national courts. A one day training course was specifically designed to address their needs and provide guidance on Amicus Curiae’s application to the cases they are handling.

The training course took place under the European Union/Council of Europe joint project “Enhancing the effectiveness of the Albanian system of Human Rights Protection and Anti-discrimination”.
