MONEYVAL has officially launched its 6th round of mutual evaluation of the Principality of Andorra. In this context, a high-level exchange was held, with the participation of the Chair of MONEYVAL, Mr Nicola MUCCIOLI, and Mr. Ramon LLADÓS – The Honourable Minister of Finance of Andorra. The intervenors stressed the importance of the assessment process and the commitment of the country’s authorities to its success.

The high-level exchange was followed by a training for the authorities and the private sector. It was aimed at familiarising all national stakeholders involved in the evaluation with the underlying standards and methodology of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the evaluation approach of MONEYVAL. The training was organised in La Vella and attended by more than 110 participants, including the representatives from the Court, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and Interior, the Ministry of Presidency and Economy, the Ministry of Finance, the Tax Department, the Andorran Police, the Andorran Financial Authority (AFA), the FIU members, and the private sector.
