A MONEYVAL delegation, led by its Chair, took an active part in the FATF Plenary and Working Group meetings held in Paris from 20 to 24 October 2025. The delegation contributed to a number of FATF workstreams, including the discussions on the FATF mutual evaluation reports on Belgium and Malaysia,  FATF Strategic Priorities 2026-2028, Asset Recovery Guidance and potential future illicit finance risks presented by artificial intelligence (AI) and deepfakes.  
 
The delegation also closely followed deliberations of the International Co-operation Review Group (ICRG), in respect of MONEYAL members which are currently subject to ICRG processes.
