Social Rights

The European Committee of Social Rights (ECSR) will hold its 341^st session from 13 to 17 May 2024, in Strasbourg. 

During this session, the Committee will continue its examination of ad hoc reports by the States Parties. It will also examine and deliberate on a number of collective complaints. 

The Committee will discuss preparations for the upcoming High-level Conference on the European Social Charter that will take place in Vilnius, on the 4th of July 2024. In this context the Committee will, in the margin of the session, attend an event organised by the Permanent Representations of Lithuania and Andorra. This event  will be an occasion to network and to showcase Charter visibility material being prepared for the Vilnius conference.

Also in the margin of the session, the Committee will participate in the event “Exchanges on the book by Petros Stangos : La fabrique de la jurisprudence sociale européenne : Les décisions ‘réclamations collectives’ du Comité européen des Droits sociaux which is co-organised by the Council of Europe and the University of Strasbourg and will take place  Strasbourg, in the Agora building. This event will also be livestreamed.
