Eurimages has been co-operating with various film markets in Europe for many years, among which those of Berlin, Cannes, and more recently Venice, three places where Eurimages has its own stand and organises receptions in co-operation with the Berlin Co-production Market, the Producers Network of the Cannes Film Market and the Gap Financing Market of Venice Production Bridge.

Eurimages has also developed partnerships with:

  • the Istanbul Film Festival where the Fund finances with an amount of €5,000 the Human Rights in Cinema Award (previously know as the FACE Award): this prize goes to the film of the Human Rights in Cinema section of the festival that best investigates social changes and individual dramas;
  • the Seville European Film Festival, which has been associated with Eurimages since 2005, in order to award the Eurimages Prize to a film supported by the Fund, thus increasing public awareness of quality films and promoting dialogue between new talents and established filmmakers;
  • several key festivals which award – in rotation – each year the Audentia Award amounting to €30,000 for best female director: this prize was awarded in Istanbul in 2016, in Locarno in 2017, at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2018 and in Göteborg in 2019. In 2020, it will be presented at the Sarajevo Film Festival.
