The Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund, in partnership with major co‑production markets throughout its member States, presents the Eurimages Co‑production Development Award: a €20,000 prize for a project in early development that encourages international co‑production from the initial stages of a project.

 

How it works:

  • Where: The award is presented at selected partner co‑production markets.
  • For whom: Projects must first be submitted to the host market for selection. Applicants need to be from a Eurimages member state.
  • How: Among the eligible projects, a jury appointed for the Eurimages Co-production Development Award selects one project.
  • There is no direct application to Eurimages; only projects in the partner market’s official line‑up can be eligible.

The following co-production markets have been selected to present the Eurimages Co-production Development Awards in the 2024-2026 cycle:

Further to the call for proposals launched in January 2026 and the recommendations made by independent experts, the Eurimages Board of Management approved the selection of the following co-productions markets to present the Eurimages Co-production Development Awards during the 2027-2929 cycle:

Eurimages Co-production Development Award - Baltic Event

The Baltic Event’s Co-production Market organised during the The Black Nights Film Festival came to a close last night with the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award given to the project entitled Citizen Saint by Tinatin Kajrishvili which will be produced by Lasha Khalvashi, Artizm, Georgia.

This prize worth 20000 euros was awarded by a jury composed of  Uldis Dimiševskis, Head of the Production and Development within the "National Film Centre" of Latvia and Latvian representative to the Eurimages Board of Management, Suzanne Glansborg, Executive Producer at TV4/Bonnier Broadcasting in Sweden and Titus Kreyenberg, General Director and Producer at unafilm in Germany.
