Online training sessions for the investigators of the State Inspector’s Service took place on 2-3 June 2020.
The training covered important juvenile-related topics such as the psychological aspects addressed by the Georgian Code on Children Rights and juvenile justice principles; victimization; sexual offences; violence against children and interviewing technics; re-victimization and the methodology of harm prevention.
This activity was organized within the framework of the CoE Project “Juvenile and Adult Detainees Support” (JADES) which is designed to address the issues related to the rights of detained persons and their treatment; crimes committed by/against juveniles; effective remedies against police misconduct and effective investigation of the alleged ill-treatment.
