Back Workshop on ‘’Interviewing of victim, witness and suspect Professional standards and ethical norms’’

29 police officers from different units for Criminal investigations (Domestic violence, Drugs, Property crime, Juvenile Delinquency) from Skopje, Tetovo, Veles and Kumanovo increased their knowledge on investigative interviewing and ethical norms.

Participants benefited from the workshop as it addressed gaps in their professional training as well as revisited some more familiar concepts to increase their professional understanding, knowledge and skill in the use of tested and proven methods of investigative interviewing in role play and thereby improve their own effectiveness and personal sense of accomplishment.

Mr Dzvonko Mladenovski, Chief Inspector, Property and Violent Crime Unit, presented and highlighted the domestic law protecting the rights of suspects during the judicial procedure.

Mr Pero Petrovski, Head of the Sector for Criminal Investigations within the Department for Suppression of Organized and Serious Crime attended the opening session of the Workshop. He formally expressed the wish to continue such collaboration soon.
