At their 1387^th meeting, on 28 October, the Ministers’ Deputies held an exchange of views with Mr Rik Daems, President of the Parliamentary Assembly, following the Enlarged Standing Committee, which met by videoconference in October 2020. The Deputies agreed to extend the mandate of the current Secretary General of the Assembly, Mr Wojciech Sawicki, until 28 February 2021, as the election process for his successor will not be completed until the next part-session, to be held in January 2021.

The Deputies also continued their preparation of the 130^th Session of the Committee of Ministers, which will be held by videoconference from Athens (Greece), on 4 November 2020, and will be chaired by Mr Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, Chairman of the Committee of Ministers.
