At their 1474th meeting on 14 September, the Ministers' Deputies discussed current political affairs.
 
They took note of the adoption by the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) of General Policy Recommendation No. 17 on preventing and combatting intolerance and discrimination against LGBTI persons and invited member States to make the best possible use of the recommendations it contains [more information ...].
 
The Deputies also took note of a mid-term report of the Strategic Action Plan on Human Rights and Technologies in Biomedicine (2020-2025).
 
In addition, the Deputies held an exchange of views with the External Auditor, Mr Pierre Moscovici, First President of the Cour des Comptes, Supreme Audit Institution of France, and approved the financial statements of the Council of Europe for the year ended 31 December 2022.
