The CEPEJ has released the results of the 2023 data collection within the “Dashboard for the Eastern Partnership/EaP” for the beneficiary countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine). A comparative first part allows for the identification of regional trends concerning 12 indicators related to the efficiency and quality of judicial systems and it includes an overview of judicial reforms.
"Beneficiary Profiles" complement this report by presenting in-depth analyses of each national judicial system through tables, and graphs, as well as countries’ evolution in time (by comparison to previous cycles), and within the region by comparing data with regional medians. Each profile also includes a specific analysis of certain indicators related notably to the independence and accountability of the judicial system.
The third part of the Report on “Key findings and Analysis” presents comparative data for all beneficiaries on themes selected by the European Commission: Efficiency, Quality, Mandate of judges and prosecutors, and Accountability of judges and prosecutors. It combines quantitative and qualitative data, accompanied by reader-friendly graphs and tables.
In parallel, the fourth cycle of data collection and analysis will be launched in November on the basis of 2024 data for the report to be delivered in 2025 within the Justice Dashboard EaP.
The Joint Programme "Support for a better evaluation of the result of judicial reform efforts in the Eastern Partnership” ("Justice Dashboard EaP") is co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the latter.
